Business Attempt Catalog: NL Trading LLC

Not new as I’ve had this LLC setup for about 5 years now, but recent developments (I left my corporate gig) have brought this to the fore front. This is an ongoing business as I’ve really found a love for trading the markets and as long as it continues to generate alpha, I’ll continue to trade grow this business. I’ll share my yearly returns as well as all the trades if you care to dig through. I’ve been trading intentionally since 2015 but I started trading Forex and not sure if I still have those records. The records below are since 2017 when I was forced to stop trading forex thanks to a new corporate job and learned Option Trading. I’ve thought about hiding a few of the columns so as to keep the account balances from view as they really don’t matter. But then again these aren’t giant numbers ~$5-50k and I think seeing the balances will give more credit and validity to my results than trying to hide them. I’ve started a YouTube channel as well on personal finance to help educate and I plan to mix in some trading videos as well as a bit of a “My journey” series on how each week goes.

In a nut shell, I trade 2 main strategies. The first is selling option spreads and Iron condors based off implied volatility pops. These are typically 30-40 days til expiration and I do these all year round. The second is an option strategy where I play options by selling Iron Flies capitalizing on the Volatility crush that happens after earnings are announced. If you are looking through the journals linked below, I only trade Iron Flies for earnings and everything else is based on volatility.
